Natalia Tomasello
Natalia Tomasello is a dedicated music educator with over a decade of teaching experience. Born and raised in Truckee, California, she currently serves as the Band Director at Alder Creek Middle School, where she teaches Concert Band, Beginning Band, Percussion, Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, and Jazz Band Club.
Natalia earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from California State University, Fresno. Beyond the classroom, she is actively involved in the professional music community. She performs as a tenor saxophonist with the Sapphire Jazz Ensemble and Quintet, as well as the Sagebrush Quartet, both based in Reno, Nevada. She also serves as Vice President of the California Music Educators Association (CMEA) Northern Section Board of Directors. She is an active member of P.E.O., a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting women’s education.
Her performance experience includes collaborations with the Truckee Community Choir and the Truckee Haunted Historical Society, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community engagement through music. Outside of her professional pursuits, Natalia enjoys hiking, golfing, skiing, singing, and traveling.
